Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (India) is a non-denominational, non-government organization.

AKRSP (I) was established in Gujarat in 1984 and it seeks to contribute to rural poverty reduction through community involvement and empowerment that leads to the efficient management and improved productivity of natural resources.

Position: Account Assistant

Location- Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh

Qualification- Graduate or Postgraduate in commerce Subject

Experience – Minimum 1 years experience with master degree & minimum 2 years with bachelor degree in the same field.

Job Description:
• Liaison with finance team at RO on regular basis.
• Oversee day-to-day financial transaction at Khandwa SHT, ensure proper and complete financial documentation, receipt book vouchers and contracts, including project payments.
• Ensure compliance of all statutory regulations (Income tax/GST etc.) for the transactions at Khandwa SHT.
• Review Pivot of SHT on a weekly basis
• Manage petty cash & day-to-day expenditures; Ensure timely reimbursements and accurate records at SHT.
• Assist in audits (donor/statutory/internal) at RO and SHT.
• Review procurement documents to ensure compliance with AKRSP(I) procurement Manual; Inform finance officer regarding programme procurement issues and field administrator regarding admin related procurement issues.
• Coordinate with contractors/vendors/suppliers and Finance officer for timely payments etc.
• Stock RC and verification on quarterly basis at field Stock RC prepare on a quarterly basis.
• Prepare Bank Reconciliation on a monthly basis.
• Review & Monitor advances of SHT and its timely settlement as per finance manual of AKRSPI.
• Review records of PC collection and submit vouchers along with deposit slip to Khandwa office.
• Monitoring of PC Cash & kind of construction work & others.
• Daily cash verification and preparing vouchers for all financial transactions at SHT level.
• Other duties as assigned by AM and Finance officer at SHT.
• Regular field visits to our working area of SHT, to verify stock etc.
• Attending meetings of Finance Team which are organized by Head Office (Ahmedabad)
• Orienting/Training at SHT staff on finance and finance manual

Salary for the position: Approx. Rs.20,000 to Rs.25,000 (CTC per month)
