Terms of Reference for Assistant - Finance and Administration on consultancy contract

Our goal is to ensure that women and girls from the most marginalized communities are empowered, live in dignity and their households have secure and resilient lives. CARE India aims to accomplish this goal by working with 50 million people to help them have quality health, education, livelihoods and overcome the effects of disasters.

All projects in the Link Learning Hub (Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Bangalore, Mumbai)

To work toward project deliverables, under the direct supervision of the Assistant Manager Finance: 

  • Front Office Management

  • To support to verify the expenses of vouchers including TER, MER, Petty cash review / settlements & other as per CARE India’s policy.

  • Ensure timely filling of documents and to be kept at safe place

  • Attending the Visitors, Vendors and Guests and attend to their queries, to inform to concerned staff

  • Handling the Petty Cash account CISSD.

  • Documents collect from Field and Timely submission of bills/ vouchers to Finance.

  • Open and date stamps all general correspondence

  • Oversee the cleanliness of the workplace and ensure safety of equipment in the office

  • Ensure proper maintenance of the toilets and washrooms.

  • Maintains the general filing system and files all correspondence

  • Monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of office supplies and equipment

  • Coordinates the repair and maintenance of office equipment.

  • In case any undelivered mail, to followed-up and tracking the shipment to inform   to concerned current status of shipment

  • Packing of documents and non-documents when as required to dispatches

Working days, Hours and Payment Deliverable:

  • Period of consultancy will be 4 months from 1st December 2021 to 31st March 2022.

  • The working hours would be 9.30 am to 5.30 pm.

  • Payment will deliver on monthly basis.

  • Location - Chennai


Graduate Degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounts
