What You’ll Do

  • Manage and supervise the end-to-end program field implementation.

  • Take responsibility to flawlessly execute the program as per the agreed deliverables and timelines.

  • Lead, manage, and inspire the field implementation team.

  • Closely coordinate and work with the program team.

  • Proactively communicate with and update all stakeholders and ensure all program deliverables and organisational policies are strictly implemented and followed.

  • Consistently update and follow up with partners to deliver the highest levels of program implementation.

  • Work closely with the program team and the operations team to prepare the field implementation budgets.

  • Ensure efficient resource allocation and strong process orientation to ensure that the funds are spent in the best possible manner and create the highest social impact.

  • Plan and maintain staff deployment in the most efficient manner in the face of real time needs. 

  • Manage team training and supportive supervision.

  • Collating testimonials, pictures, videos, and feedback from funding partners/donors and beneficiaries.

  • Maintenance of real-time data and produce timely reports.

  • Ensure the data management and IT systems are regularly updated and maintained.

  • Manage and grow VAPs network of funding partners/donors. Use your creativity to find new paths and expand existing ones to bring eyeglasses to our target population.

What’s Required

  • Graduate degree in social work and/or related field is required. Master’s degree and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strongly preferred.

  • 5 to 10 years of professional experience in program execution and implementation, relationship management, and team handling.

  • Strong program execution and implementation experience, in both urban and rural environments, and especially in communities.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.

  • Must meet the highest standards of ethics and personal integrity.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, within West India.
