Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj & Sundargarh)
Contract Duration: 7 Months( January 1, 2022 to July
Salary Between Rs.55,000/- Per month to Rs.
62,500/- Per Month depending on the experience of the candidate
and last drawn salary.

The position holder shall be responsible

About the project:
India is going to implement a project with the aim to increase the
demand for, distribution and uptake of COVID-19 vaccination,
particularly for the vulnerable and marginalized populations in 9
Districts of Odisha. The proposed intervention will focus on
augmenting the Government’s COVID-19 vaccination programme with
the objective to reduce vaccine hesitancy and increase demand for
vaccine and strengthen the last mile connectivity. Plan India
proposes to intervene in 18 blocks 2 blocks spread across nine
targeted district of Odisha. While block saturation model will be
adopted to cover the entire blocks from these blocks 450 locations
(hard-to-reach area, vulnerable locations that are having poor
COVID vaccination) Intensive intervention will be done in these
location along with working in other locations/villages of the
block. Four pronged approach to be adopted i.e. 1) awareness
generation; 2) community engagement; 3) Strengthening service
delivery and 4) innovation in last mile delivery. The duration of
the project is from December 1, 2021 to July 31, 2022.
• Nodal point for the respective district
level functionaries of the government in planning, developing, and
implementing of the project strategies;
• Develop district
project budgets / Reports on the progress of the project; develop
& implement Work Plans, quarterly and annual reports, M&E
reports, and financial reports,
• Jointly implementation of
a communication, awareness creation and demand generation
strategies and various training programs
capacity building and routine monitoring and supervision of key
Reporting to: The Cluster District
Project Coordinator will be reporting to the State Project
Manager-Odisha on all issues associated with his/her work
Profile Master's degree in Public Health, Social Sciences,
Management or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience
in the health sector, preferably managing community led health
• The candidate must possess technical knowledge
on COVID Vaccination and excellent reporting and analysis
abilities, capacity to communicate with various players at
different levels and an ability to negotiate in a multicultural
• S/He should be familiar with techniques of
monitoring and evaluation.
• The suitable candidate should
be familiar with the organization and functions of the state and
local public health systems and COVID vaccination process.
S/he will possess excellent team work abilities and the ability to
work well in an inter- disciplinary team.
• S/he will have
excellent written and verbal communication skills in local
language and English.
• Candidate should be proficient in
the use of computers.
