Location: New Delhi, India


Reporting to: Senior Communications Specialist & Archivist


Duration1 year (contract extendable on mutual agreement and work satisfaction). This is a full-time position with an intial 2-month probation period.




To support the Outreach team on a range of communication and outreach activities to influence intended stakeholders.

Job Duties and Accountabilities:

  • Assisting and managing all the stages of CEEW's research publication per existing SoPs;

  • Conceptualising and developing (with designers) clear and engaging infographics to showcase data in print and on social media.

  • Following and improving the organisation's branding style guide periodically to represent best practices.

  • Adopting trending ideas on language usage, design language, and successful branding of outreach materials and channels used by organisations across sectors.

  • Studying and adopting contemporary communication and data visualisation trends and producing communication collaterals to specific briefs.

  • Producing short videos on research published by teams.

If you are applying for this post you need to have the following:

A strong design sense for print and digital.

A portfolio of design work you have produced or supervised.

Above-average language skills in spoken and written English and a reasonable grasp of spoken and written Hindi.

An eye for data visualisation and infographic making.

The ability to research and digest best-of-class communication ideas as well as the knowledge to liaison with third-party vendors.

Basic design, photography and basic knowledge of video making.


The candidate should be solution-oriented, detail-oriented and committed to adhering to timelines.


In addition to the duties and responsibilities below, the individual should be prepared, as and when necessary, to take on additional responsibilities.


Deliverables and Responsibilities



  • Manage and own all milestones in the CEEW publication process to deliver publications and related infographics per project.

  • Make case studies of trending ideas on language usage, design, and successful branding case studies.

  • Manage the CEEW publications inventory.

  • Help develop publications-related short videos in-house.

Other Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors (designers, data visualisers, printers, photographers/videographers) to ensure communication collaterals are produced within given timelines and all requirements are communicated to the vendors in a timely manner.

  • Brainstorm to come up with creative data visualisation ideas and work towards executing these.

  • Provide on-ground support during CEEW events.

Selection Criteria



  • Master's/Bachelor's degree in design language, communications, journalism, or marketing communication.

Work Experience and Other Skills

  • 1-3 years experience in producing communication pieces, magazines, writing and proofing and or marcomm materials from idea to final product.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Eye for detail.

  • Excellent grasp of English language.

  • Excellent project management skills.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
