 Position: Consultant- SANKALP

Number of position: 1 (One) Delhi

 

 

 

Educational and other qualifications

 

Qualification:

  • Bachelors in Statistics, Economics, Engineering or any other related field. Preference shall be given to candidates with Masters/ Post-graduation in relevant field.

  • Should have good command over English (both written and verbal).

  • Proficient in handling computer and office related tools.

  • Proficiency in English and Hindi language

Experience:

At least 7 years of professional  experience

  • Specific experience of developing M&E frameworks for large scale projects and conducting impact evaluation assessments is needed.

  • Experience in using frameworks such as log frames etc. would be preferred.

  • Experience of working in at least one project using web-based monitoring and evaluation tools is necessary.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and documentation skills;

  • Proficiency in using software like Tableau, SPSS, MS Excel

  • Understanding of IT system development (web page, MIS and mobile application)

  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively;

  • Should be able to operate in unstructured environment with minimal support.

 

 

Scope of Work



  • Design and implement monitoring mechanism for various initiatives under SANKALP

  • Concurrent monitoring of the projects being implemented by MSDE and provide their health card

  • Support MSDE in development of project specific IT systems (web portal/ MIS/ Mobile application)

  • Develop periodic reports as per MSDE requirement

  • Any other work as per MSDE requirement.

 

Period of Contract

The appointment to the post will be purely on contract basis initially for a period of one year, further extendable subject to satisfactory performance and requirement of services for another year. The performance of the consultant will be reviewed every year and the contract shall be extended or discontinued (as the case may be) depending on the performance. The decision of NIMI shall be final in this regard.

Remuneration range  (per month)

Rs. 50,000/-  to Rs. 2,00,000/- per month /- consolidated pay from which standard TDS will be deducted at source. Not entitled to any other allowance or benefits. Remuneration to the Technical Resources shall be commensurate with their experience and last drawn salary.

Selection Process

Selection will be done on the basis of performance in the personal interview by a selection committee. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. At the time of the interview, the candidates shall produce their original certificates for verification.

Attendance and leave policy

The working hours will be the same as for NIMI. No extra remuneration shall be paid for working beyond office hours or on Saturdays/Sundays/gazetted holidays.

Confidentiality and secrecy

The consultant maintain confidentiality and will not divulge any information gathered during the period of engagement with the NIMI to any person who is not authorised to know the same.
