Job Description (Coordinator):

The Coordinator will be responsible for managing complex science based air quality projects, manage relationships with varied stakeholders, and ensure deliverables and objectives are met for the assigned project.

-Work with manager to create project specific workplans and ensure to stay on track to meet deliverables and objectives; develop and apply appropriate means for measuring project success.
-Reach out to stakeholders and partners for organizing meetings and project related interactions.
-Analysis and critical assessment of various project outcomes and activities. If need coordinate with respective EDF expertise respective to the project.
-Ability to review quality check and quality control of various data collected, reports submitted by partners and get it corrected and verified before it goes up to the management.
-Provide inputs to Knowledge Management and Capacity Building initiatives of EDF- Contribute to the research/ module preparation and profiling of air quality-related studies, policies, projects, initiatives, etc.
-Coordinate the project on a whole and manage the team working on the specific project.
-Manage project related communications and data management: Website management, twitter, facebook, linkedIn, e-mail follow-ups and addressing issues, drafting letters, invitations, project briefs, IEC material preparations in coordination with the team, project related presentations from time to time.

We are seeking a substantively experienced, technically quality in air quality background or other environmental sectors and have experience in managing projects.

Qualifications for this position include:

• 3 years of relevant experience in the corporate or non-profit sectors, including demonstrated ability to independently manage complex projects;
• Experience and ability to communicate with partners and stakeholders: Government/ Civil society/ NGO/ Academia/ Research institutions;
• Experience managing project level teams;
• Master's degree in environment, or other relevant field;
• Knowledge of the Indian Air quality sector
• Ability and willingness to work with a global team across multiple time zones, including joining calls beyond normal business hours;
• Highly effective written and oral communication skills;
• Attention to detail and personal organization skills;
• Willingness to travel (25-50% of the time/ or depending on the project working on) when it is safe to do so;
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
