Sightsavers India has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Consultant to join a dynamic and high performing Programme and Finance team. S/he will work with the team members in terms of Programme Financial Accounting & Documentation, Support for HR Management and Administration & Procurement.

This position is on a third-party payroll reporting to Area Finance and Support Service Manager and is based out of Bhopal-Madhya Pradesh. Contract will be a period of 11 months and is on a renewal basis subject to performance and availability of funds. Total CTC to this position is Rs 40K per month which commensurate with experience.

Finance consultant will be responsible for effective implementation of projects across the State. S/he will oversee the program financial accounting of Sightsavers’ core programme in the state of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan; will ensure:

• financial Planning, Budgeting and forecasting for the directly implemented projects.
• Onsite support to the programme team for conducting training, meeting & workshops.
• Ensure timely release of funds to partners, vendors, consultants etc.
• compliance to donor requirements (timely and quality reporting) and implementation.
• Compile and review Partners Monthly Financial Report and provide feedback.
• Compute taxes owed, ensuring compliance with payment.
• Support to Admin & finance team for Vendor identification at the state level, collection of documents & quotation
The ideal candidate will hold a BCom /M.Com from any recognized university about 4-5 years of Post Qualification experience preferably in a NGO / INGO environment having experience of financial management, programme & project management, HRM and administration. Knowledge of eye health would be a plus
