Job Summary


He / She will support and closely working with the Executive Director in developing and successful fund raising initiatives for achieving organizational objectives.

Major Responsibilities and Tasks


1.                Resource Mobilization

  • Networking with various local organizations and partners to raise funds.

  • Create local events and exhibitions to generate revenue for the organization.

  • Effectively using social media to reach out to stakeholders;

  • Evaluating trends in the fundraising market and accordingly designing and mixing activities, products and related campaigns and events.

  • Developing alumni engagement plan and executing it with the help of the central team. 

  • Preparation of project proposals entailing framing of concept notes, filling the application format etc.

  • Marketing of proposals and rigorous follow ups for the approval.

  • Brainstorming with the management and other concerned departments on the viability of the products and details regarding its implementation

  • Ensure networking with existing Donors and work towards advancement of the contact to yield new relationships.

  • Formulate an annual resource mobilization plan and ensure its achievement through various strategies.

Essential Qualification: 

  • A graduate in social work/business development/communication/management streams.

  • More than 2 years of work experience in development sector.

  • Working experience in events and sales.

Core Competencies: 

  • A leader with writing and conversational skills in English and Hindi. Should also have capacity to initiate and lead the discussions.

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to represent Deepalaya at the highest levels within companies and governments and to speak confidently about philanthropy to corporates and at events; 

  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills

  • Great Skills in power point presentation development and execution..

  • Capability of multi-tasking under demanding conditions and willingness to compete respect the team spirit.
