Description

Position Title: HR Manager

Job Description
The organisation is working on a time bound research activity and has tight schedules therefore HR support and administration support is critical for smooth execution.

• Contribute to the implementation of HR structure, competencies, deliverables and capacity development plan
• Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the projects requirements
• Plan and implement strategies for recruitment, hiring, training and development of field and data entry
• Travel to villages under the project (Satna district), which is 25% of overall time
• Managing recruitment and selection of manpower at village/tehsil and district level
• Handling community related issues with regards to staffing
• Track vacancies throughout project and locations and ensure filling up the vacancies in a timely manner
• Design and drive competency mapping and tracking of staff performance and initiate necessary HR procedures
• Implement staff capacity building programs through engagement of internal and external resource persons
• Ensure legal and statutory compliances and liaison with the concerned government agencies for closure of matters
• Maintain updated employee records at central levels, employee documents, joining-resignation, leave balance record, employee appraisal sheets, etc.
• Oversee effective implementation of company policy against workplace harassment and POSH
• Handle workplace grievances, investigations, disciplinary and termination processes
• Work in close coordination with Project coordinators for HR and admin related services

Language and IT Skills
• Proficiency (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension) in Hindi, English
• Skills in impactful communication, public speaking and negotiating
• Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)


Qualifications and Experience
• Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management/ Development/ Industrial relations
• 6-9 years of experience in the related field, of which at least 3 years should be at a Managerial level in a Not for Profit entity
• Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse work environment, with strong collaboration and diplomacy skills
• Experience of engaging with diverse stakeholders and effectively managing networks and partnerships
• Results-driven and self-motivated with an ability to inspire the pursuit of excellence
