Mobile Creches, (MC) a pioneer NGO, has been operational since 1969, reaching child care and health services to more than 15,000 children every year, through workplace and community based crèches and daycare centres.

MC pioneered the cause of Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) and focuses on the young child under six years in urban slums and the migrant child, at construction site. MC’s multi-pronged approach- working with construction worker’s children, urban slum communities training and ECD partnership address both the short and long term needs of children. It is officially recognized as a technical resource by the government and is on the path by scaling up with government and other players in civil society.

As an organization, Mobile Creches adheres to a strict safeguarding policy. All staff, volunteers, interns, vendors, consultants etc. are obliged to be aware of the conditions of this policy, be a signatory to this and follow the norms.

Designation- Implementor/Sr. Implementor_ECD Content

Level : 5

Geographical Location: Delhi

Reporting to (Position): Thematic Lead_Capacity Building

Reported By: Trainers

Qualifications requirement: Master’s degree in Social Sciences / Social Work will be preferable .

Knowledge in domains of education, life skills, gender, community participation etc would be preferred.

Total work Experience in the relevant field-Atleast 8 years with proven work experience in conducting training / workshops development programs of at least 4-5 years in training related functions.

Job Description- Specific Areas of Responsibilities are not limited to -:

1. Creating training programs
2. Bringing innovation and creativity in the current training programs and getting external knowledge also to do so.
3. Conducting effective training sessions
4. Identifying and assessing future and current training needs for MC run centres and in consultation with Program Implementors/Senior Implementors
5. Designing and developing needs based training modules using digital formats.
6. Design training budget under the guidance of Thematic Lead and comply with project budgets
7. Integrate training trends, developments and best practices in ECD, Gender etc in MC’s modules
8. Training the trainers with support of Thematic Lead-Capacity Building
9. Development of a training calendar and assessment of training needs covering all key staff of the programme implementation team
10. Facilitate trainings under the project/s as per the project/s implementation plan.
11. Documenting training programme, tracking MIS and providing donor reports as per the timelines.
12. Collating and analyzing MC quality standard benchmark and maintaining training session quality.
13. Supporting team in organizing events/visits, etc as per the need.
14. Attending capacity building programs as mandated by the project

Important key skills required –

• Excellent training delivery skills
• Experience in developing and using online training materials
• Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals.
• Good computer and database skills
• Guiding Training and Facilitation skills.
• Familiar with Participatory training methodology
• Ability to motivate others and inspire trust
• Ability to relate with audience at the grass root level

Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques.
