YouthInvest Foundation (YouthInvest) is a not-for-profit organisation working to ensure rights to health, education and livelihoods for adolescents and youth (10-24 years). YouthInvest envisions healthy, educated, emotionally well-adjusted and skilled adolescents and youth – especially from marginalised and disadvantaged populations – entering adulthood.

YouthInvest seeks to hire qualified professionals for its project based in Assam aimed at improving maternal, child health and nutrition. Project staff will be based in Darrang district where the project is operational. All positions are full-time contractual renewable on a yearly basis subject to availability of funds.

1. M& E and documentation Officer – Assam

Position Based at: Darrang or Kamrup with frequent travel to field area

Position summary: Establish a mechanism and share periodically project generated data with staff and community. Sharing feedback on location specific project progressof YouthInvest Foundation.

Qualification, experience and skills required:

• Minimum post-graduate training in Population Studies/ Public Health/ Statistics or related field with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience of progressively increasing responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience in day-to-day monitoring and data capturing of project activities, preferably in the context of scaling a development intervention in District/state.
• Fluency in speaking Assamese, Hindi and English with strong writing skills in English is essential.
• Experience Working with district/state Government Is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in data handling and monitoring and evaluation of public health and nutrition projects, preferably at scale.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, while also proactively and regularly communicating upward relevant progress updates and bottlenecks requiring attention or support from leadership.
• Action-oriented, flexible approach and entrepreneurial problem-solver, with an ability to manage multiple competing deadlines.

Knowledge and skills required:

• Work closely with the Manager M&E, Training and Documentation and Programme Manager Assam.
• Periodic assessment of Home-Based Prevention and Management (HBPM) of underweight children.
• Ongoing monitoring of key project outcomes, outputs, activities.
• Process documentation of key programme approaches and interventions.
• Follow and collect data according to the Project MIS system to track each beneficiary and key project activities, outputs and outcomes, and ensure regular report to ITC.
• Responsible for reporting according to the developed monitoring system with monthly, quarterly, annual reports covering key RMNCHN indicators for target groups.
• Assist Project Manager in developing both technical and progress reports.
• Establish a mechanism and share periodically project generated data with staff and community. Sharing feedback on location specific project progress.

CTC will be 3.6 lakhs per annum.
