Job Description

This position partners closely with key business teams, forms trusted relationships and drives communication strategies with a long-term view on business needs and strategic, patient-centric business priorities.

You understand the crucial role that Communications plays in translating key business priorities into easily consumable and high impact communication that is measurable. An important element is to reach key audiences through proactive, integrated, and impactful communication. You suggest innovative communication ideas to BUs to bolster corporate reputation.

You effectively collaborate with & learn from Roche’s global Communications community.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with BU & Marketing teams to understand business priorities and study existing business landscape, competition communication strategies, and identify opportunities to drive communications.

  • Design communications plans & activities to strengthen Roche Diagnostics India & Neighbouring Markets brand amid external stakeholders such as media, patient groups, customer, institutes and industry forums.

  • Identify story ideas to build Roche Diagnostics India’s thought leadership positioning.

  • Analysis and reporting on all campaigns and communication activities, providing results and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

Education Qualifications

  • Enjoy prior experience in a PR agency or PR role in a corporate communications team with strong media relations. Healthcare background will be preferred.

  • Possess a strategic mindset to drive PR narrative across all media; able to study trends & develop story ideas for media.

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to write clear, concise and compelling copy.

  • You are able to use technology and data to measure the impact of communication activities and generate insights to aid subsequent decision making.

  • Enjoy experience in working closely with Product teams for communications and promotions.

  • You have the ability to manage end-to-end execution of large campaigns involving multiple stakeholders (internal, vendors, agencies, media, etc) independently.

  • Expedited joining preferred.

Experience Required: 7-10 years of experience in Communications in a PR agency or corporate communications handling PR for the brand.
