EdIndia Foundation (www.edindia.in) is a not for profit focused on leveraging technology and data analytics to create innovative solutions to impact education at scale. Edindia believes that technology has a huge potential to impact government schools at scale. In the Covid times, while #Edtech has been the buzzword – the digital divide between children “with access” and “without” has been widening.

 

EdIndia has recently expanded its support to government teachers of Uttarakhand and Tripura, through its e-initiatives like online trainings, mobile app and e-forums for teachers. During the Covid lockdown situation, EdIndia has helped more than 1,80,000 teachers to prepare themselves for the new tech-enabled teaching learning scenario.

 

EdIndia’s flagship program ‘Pragyan’ has recently won “CSR TIMES AWARD -2020 – Gold category” in area of Education. Edindia is also adjudged among the Top 50 organisations in Education by Global Forum for Education and Learning

 

EdIndia is on a mission to bring positive change in classroom teaching-learning processes, through its large scale programs, leveraging EdTech Solutions.

 

EdIndia views its role as system integrator, keen on designing and rolling out large scale, Pan-India programs. As part of its aggressive scale-up plans EdIndia is expanding its footprints in thematic domains and geographies. To manage various new initiatives and their expansion , EdIndia is seeking to recruit a Manager – Pragyan, New Initiatives at the Jaipur location.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Manager-New Initiatives will be assisting the Program Lead for managing various new initiatives under the program ‘Pragyan’ in the areas of Pre-Service and In-service teacher education.

  • Effectively manage multiple projects in coordination with Project Coordinators through effective programme and financial planning.

  • Prepare work plan and facilitate implementation of field level strategies and processes in alignment with overall project objectives.

  • Build and manage partnerships with different stakeholders/institutions/organizations in alignment with overall program objectives.

  • Develop strategies for scale-up and manage roll-out in new geographies. Generate opportunities for new-initiatives in alignment with program objectives.

  • Coordinate with external vendors and agencies including govt. and non-govt. stakeholders

Desired Competencies:

  • Experience of working in education sector in role of program/project management/Teacher-Education/Pre-Service Teacher Education.

  • Demonstrating ability to manage and implement large scale education projects

  • Demonstrated ability to practicing Innovation and Change. Develop new and innovative ways to improve delivery, optimize costs, improve strategy and engagement.

  • Building Collaborative Relationships: Works cooperatively and effectively with others in a non-hierarchical setting to establish goals, resolves problems and makes decisions that enhance Project Delivery. Manages complexity and drive for results.

  • Strong documentation & presentation skills.

Qualifications:

  • The potential applicant should have demonstrated skills in at least one of the following: Teacher Education, Program Management, Business Development, Academic Content, Pedagogy, experience in low income school environment.

  • Successful track record of identifying, cultivating, on boarding and concluding vendor or service provider arrangements is highly desirable

  • Successful track record of identifying, cultivating, soliciting and closing partnerships.

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience is required.

  • Post Graduate/Masters in relevant field of Teacher-Education / Management / Social Development / Technology / Education

Location:Jaipur, Rajasthan

 

Salary: Remuneration will be competitive with Indian philanthropy pay scales and will depend upon the candidate’s experience levels.
