About the Project:

Samagra, led by Population Services International (PSI), strives to create an urban health ecosystem that is responsive, affordable, and equitable, and which provides quality preventive, promotive, and curative primary health care for the urban poor, with a focus on women, girls, and other vulnerable populations. In partnership with the USAID, the Government of India (GOI), and local public and private sector stakeholders, Samagra aims to improve access to affordable quality health services in the urban areas, enable good governance for urban health and address the barriers related to the social determinants of health including gender, nutrition, air pollution, among others.

Position Purpose:

The Manager - Communications will report to the Senior Manager – Communications and Documentation and will be responsible for content creation under the project. S/he will collaborate with the extended Samagra team, and local implementation partners to effectively deliver the defined communications strategy and plan for the project.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Draft content collaterals such as presentations, newsletters, case studies, social media posts, blogs, event reports, talking points, press releases, etc.
• Prepare detailed program activity reports in collaboration with all departments.
• Assist the Senior Manager in coordinating with internal teams, and external vendors.
• Assist the Senior Manager in organizing events, and forums.
• Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner.
Qualification and Experience:
• Master’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or relevant field.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in content creation and campaign management is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Canva, MailChimp and MS Office.
• Ability and willingness to travel
