Position: Manager Global Healthy Family Solutions, India / APAC

Responsibilities:

  • Increase sustainable patient reach by improving access to primary healthcare for underserved populations across the world. Design and implement new sustainable social programs that will enable Novartis to adapt and implement Healthy Family for vulnerable populations across the globe

  • Identify and secure support from key external partners (commercial, NGO, KOLs, and government) at global and regional level to support country level deployment. Work with country teams to define social KPIs required to achieve long-term sustainability and the long-term impact of the program on community level health outcomes

  • Design and implement a rigorous M&E logic model to ensure that the long-term health outcomes can be robustly measured and externally demonstrated across all programs

  • Apply a deep understanding of the healthcare environment - priorities, drivers, pressures and needs generated from insights and identify opportunities to co-create value solutions with country teams that meet the needs of Key Decision Makers such as governments, NGOs and other key organizations.

  • Collaborate across Divisions in the region, as well as with global functions including, Global Health, Pharma Franchise, SDZ , Oncology and Public Affairs. Identify, codify and cascade best practice and common processes for social programs across markets

  • Work with HSS CoE team and country teams to drive integration of the programs for patient`s unmet needs, including innovative financing solutions such as micro-insurance, digital ordering systems and cost-sharing models.

  • Work with country teams to uncover and develop new business opportunities via customers and payers insights to enable sustainable patient accessibility and affordability.

  • Support country teams to project manage key projects including building comprehensive work plan, setting up the operations and managing project resources and budget. Ensure quick turnaround of ad-hoc analysis, providing accurate information / analysis required for timely decision-making.

Minimum Requirements:

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Advanced Degree in business, economics, public health, engineering, medicine or relevant experience in Global Health innovation, innovative financing, and/or global health entrepreneurship

  • 5+ years working in the Global Health, with a focus on community healthcare approaches

  • Experience living and working in a low income countries. Demonstrated respect for working with diverse stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Experience in scaling programs to national level

  • Strong experience aligning with commercial leadership and influencing without formal authority. Strong experience in developing and implementing innovative social business models to improve service delivery and access to medicines in resource limited settings

  • Strong external network and experience in Global Health Innovation and willingness to engage to rapidly build internal network if not already present

  • Ability to harness the power of working in multicultural, interdisciplinary, and multigenerational teams to deliver breakthrough innovation

  • Ability to effectively communicate and inspire associates to devise innovative solutions to Global Health challenges while also influencing senior leaders across the company. Resilient approach to innovation, proactive and transparent about success and failures to enable innovation and learning
