Health Organization (WHO) is a specialized agency of the United
Nations that is concerned with international public health. WHO
are responsible for the World Health Report, the worldwide World
Health Survey, and World Health Day.
the direct supervision of the Regional Director, the incumbent
will perform the following functions:
incoming correspondence / communications / proposals and
highlight key issues / areas needs requiring Madam RD's attention
to facilitate decision making.
analytical inputs for financial and operational monitoring of
implementation of programmes and prepare periodic reports for
discussions in department's meeting, recommending ways to
accelerate implementation; assist in monitoring effective use of
the human and financial resources of the department.
the harmonization of work with other departments, HQ, national
authorities, other UN agencies, various donors, academic
institutions, philanthropic foundations, private sector and civil
minutes of internal meetings including Executive Management and
Staff meetings and follow-up and follow-up on implementation of
and /or maintain e-filing and ensure updated information; obtain
documents and information from in-house and external sources and
perform information search, as required.
administrative and programmatic follow-up actions, as necessary,
in response to RD's directives as well as for important policy
meetings such as RCs/EBs/WHAs.

University degree in Public or Business Administration or related
Training in general administration, project management or related
Minimum1 years experience in general administration
Experience in WHO, other UN Agencies or in a large multi-national
or international organization
