position holder shall be responsible to adhere & work within
the ambit of Plan India’s Safeguarding Policy & Gender
Equality Policies. She /He will also be govern by the service
rules of Plan India.
Summary of the Overall Job:
main goal of the role is the capacity building on gender equality
and GBV to ensure that the project staff and volunteers treat
women, girls, men, boys with different needs and experiences,
especially the poor and most vulnerable, with equal level of
respect, and involve them in their activities. It is expected that
the anticipated training participants do not have any GBV related
background. The incumbent is expected to work along with
counsellors, case workers, social workers to accomplish the tasks
related to the specific survivors of GBV and in doing so guide,
support and handhold the counsellors, case workers and social
workers as a lead trainer of specified geography. The position
will directly work under the guidance of Master Trainer of GBV and
function under the supervision of SPM – W & C. For this,
Consultant will conduct GE/GBV capacity assessment of the
audience. The training should provide the staff and volunteers
with the information and skills to identify risks of GBV and to
respond to reported situations or refer cases to specialized
services, using referral pathways. Also, through this role,
project staff will enhance their capacity to effectively implement

the plan of online GBV training (to be held in the online mode) on
gender equality and GBV, referral pathways, and legal remedies
based on the GE/GBV capacity assessment.

the educational materials (workbook) according to the plan.
Dissemination of the hand-out educational materials among the

command of both written and spoken English. Fluency in Marathi is
essential. Fluency in Hindi will be an advantage. Additional
knowledge of other Indian languages will be considered an asset.
