REACH is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the fight against Tuberculosis (TB), with offices in Chennai and New Delhi.. REACH has been awarded the Sub recipient of FIND for the Global fund Project, “Unite to Act”(Amplifying Community Action for Elimination of TB). The goal of the Unite to ACT project is to accelerate efforts towards TB elimination in India by unifying and scaling up community action for TB through a cohesive community-led response . The project will be implemented in 10 states in the country and to another 15 states/UTs technical assistance for community engagement will be provided through the grant. For Detailed information. For the Unite to Act project, REACH is looking for Operations lead for its National Program Management Unit (NPMU) based at Delhi. The Operations Lead will work under the supervision of the Project lead to coordinate and oversee the implementation of project activities in direct implementation states and in states managed by both SSRs.

Specific responsibilities will include to :

1. Operations Lead works with the project lead to plan, implement the project activities and achieve the project targets.
2. Review and analyses the project specific plans and priorities, reports and other relevant information.
3. Work in close collaboration with project SSRs to design and revise project annual work plans. Maintain the project work plan updated in accordance with project activities and timeframes.
4. Responsible for implementation of activities on a regular basis to measure achievement against the performance indicators. Review the quality of existing data in the project subject areas. Check data quality with partners.
5. Ensure the effective management of the budget assigned to project activities in India.
6. Support the selection and hiring of external collaborators for project activities in India, as well as in the review of the products as required.
7. Prepare briefs, provide inputs to project technical reports and updates regarding activities implemented in India, as scheduled and upon request. Provide inputs to the project mid-term and final evaluations.
8. Support the development of innovative tools and approaches; as well as supporting research activities to collect data and analyze good practices in the various technical areas covered by the project.
9. Closely be in touch with the key stakeholders and ensure that their outputs are in sync with the approved work plan
10. Provide input and guidance to leadership team on matters of program expansion and strategic growth
11. The National Project Manager will have to lead and organize the knowledge events such as workshops, webinars, consultation meetings etc around the key milestones of the report publication.
12. This will involve advance planning, coordination with other stakeholders, development of outcome documents, social media engagement etc
13. Conduct monitoring and supportive supervision visits in all states for review and documentation of project activities.
14.Coordinate with CTD for the implementation of national level activities related to modules and guidelines development under the project.

1. Masters’ degree in social work, rural development , public health or development studies, international relations (or equivalent).

Experience and skills:

1. At least 10 years of progressively responsible management experience in health, development sector at the national level;
2. Experience in Health sector, especially in the implementation of TB programs at national/state level;
3. Strong programme management experience.
4. Fluency in English and Hindi .
5. Exemplary analytical, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
6. Excellent writing and communication skills and experience presenting complex ?information in a variety of formats and styles for different audiences.
7. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder relation skills with an ability to identify new ?strategic partnerships.
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in fast paced work environment.
9. Ability to work effectively as a member of a team, know when to act independently ?and when to consult for advice on decision-making.
10. Ability to carry out online research, undertake literature surveys and develop drafts of strategic documents.
11. Ability to effectively manage relationships and coordinate with a pan-India team based at different locations.
12. A willingness to carry out a wide range of activities, including both professional and logistical tasks.
13. Willingness to travel across India.
