ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

ACCESS Development Services is a national livelihoods promotion organization with focus on incubating innovations and sustainable models for livelihoods promotion of the poor. ACCESS operates in 14 states across the country, with programmes in both rural and urban locations, as well as in both farm and the non-farm sector.

Currently, ACCESS supports over 310,00 households, strengthening their livelihoods and moving those from subsistence to sustainable levels through a clutch of intertwined interventions.

ABOUT THE Project – GramyaShakti-2

ACCESS’s GramyaShakti-2 project seeks to scale up an existing women’s collective enterprise engaged in spices processing and establish four new collective enterprises in spice processing across the 3 states of Odisha; West Bengal; and Rajasthan. Under GramyaShakti-2, women members will be skilled to self-manage and govern the enterprises; provided with niche packaging and branding solutions; linked with highest value markets; and credit linkages will be established with formal financial institutions in an effort to support and enhance women’s livelihoods and their economic and social empowerment.

About the Role:

Access Development Services is looking for a Production Coordinators in Odisha to join its GramyaShakti project. The Production Coordinator will be responsible for the following key activities:

• Undertaking training of women participants in entrepreneurship development
• Mobilization of women for setting up own enterprise
• Formation of a producer enterprise and registering the same as a legal entity
• Provide support in smooth operations of the enterprise
• Develop local-level markets for selling products manufactured by the community enterprise
• Support in other deliverables related to the project
• Provide support in data collection and compilation

Qualification:

• Post-Graduation in Social Work or Rural Development or in a similar field
• At least 5-10 years of experience in rural livelihoods
• Hand-on experience in formation of community-based enterprises such as FPCs
• Knowledge of rural development schemes
• Ability to engage with various stakeholders at the local / state levels
• Good command of Odiya / Bengali and functional knowledge of English language.
• Ability to travel extensively in the project location

Role Type: Contractual

Duration: 1 Year (renewable)
