About the program:

CHRI is working as a part of consortium led by Humana People to People India (HPPI) to implement the project for TB Intervention among Difficult-to-reach Migratory Population. We aim to demonstrate sustainable and context specific models of quality TB care provision for migrant and mobile population in Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai Kolkata & Chennai by leveraging local health system, fostering multi-sectoral linkages, and leveraging appropriate technology.

Secondly, CHRI, under the ambit of National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP) will strengthen systems to ensure evidence planning and organizing of TB care services for migrant and mobile populations and support adoption of the models.

Role & responsibilities:

Program lead will work with CTD, WHO and other developments partner for providing technical & M&E inputs. The role will include the following responsibilities:

• Provide technical support in close collaboration with CTD, STC, WHO, Humana and with other partners for project implementation.
• Facilitate the establishment of district level units for screening and treatment of target population.
• Liaison with Central, State and City TB officers for ensuring regular and uninterrupted TB care services for vulnerable population.
• Provide required support in establishing a TB care management model at city level.
• Additional responsibility as program officer for Delhi
• Lead a team of 5 members to conduct technical assistance activities.
• Represent CHRI at national and state level stakeholders review meeting.
• Design and implementing M&E activities in close coordination with Humana.
• Assist the project team in preparing Quarterly/Annual progress reports in alignment with donor requirement.
• Create project database for systematic analysis of different data in relation to the project activities.
• Liaison with the CTD/WHO on project and data related issues.
• Analyse data for both learning and reporting purposes and provide project staff and its stakeholders with evidence-based feedback (regarding programming strengths and gaps) on a regular basis.
• Work with a high degree of autonomy and independence in line with project goals and objectives.

Required skills & experience:

• MPH/MHA from a reputed university or Higher-level qualification, preferably in public health or in another relevant field such as medicine.
• Advanced degree and/or training in public health.

• 7+ years of progressively responsible leadership roles in the design and/or delivery of public health programs and research with a preference for experience in working on TB Program in India.
• Recognized public health leader in the state with experience of leading public health program.
• 4-6 years’ experience of leading program operations in a state.
• Experience of managing a team of 5-10 members for conducting team operations.
• Work with a high degree of autonomy and independence in line with project goals and objectives.
• The candidates must be self-starters and committed to performing their duties with minimal direct and day-to-day supervision.
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and report on project success criteria results, metrics.
• Manage and coordinate diverse tasks and facilitate relationships among multiple stakeholders.
• Undertake other assignments, which may be assigned from time to time.
• Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook & Web surfing to search relevant data & documents.
• Fluency in English and ability to converse in local language.
• Available to travel at city level up to 50 percent of the time
