Job Description (Manager):

The Program Manager will implement project management best practices for complex science-based projects, manage relationships with varied stakeholders, and ensure deliverables and objectives are met. The Program Manager will coordinate cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams to collect, analyze, interpret, and ultimately disseminate scientifically robust air quality information

-Reach out to stakeholders and partners for organizing meetings and project related interactions.
-Assist in managing EDF India Air Quality portfolio by keeping track of all projects by activity reporting, building work plans, resource allocation, timeline management and communication.
-Coordinating with the EDF Head Office on administrative requirements and contracts with partner organizations on on-going or new projects/programs.
-Work on AQ portfolio presentations, drafting milestones, attending and contributing to strategy meetings, creating meeting summaries. Monitoring the progress of these initiatives as per key milestones and timelines defined in the work plan.
-Review the reports, concept notes submitted to EDF on the project progress across on-going projects.
-Facilitate, with partners, development and deployment of assessment tools for monitoring and impact evaluations; across various projects
-Create and/or assist with communications material on the on-going projects, capturing the progress and impact of these initiatives.

We are seeking a substantively experienced, passionate and logistically savvy manager with a background in the business and/or environmental sectors.

Qualifications for this position include:
• 5 years of experience in the corporate or non-profit sectors, including demonstrated ability to manage complex projects;
• Experience and ability to engage with senior government officials on discussions on policy and programs;
• Experience managing teams;
• Master's degree in business, environment, or other relevant field;
• Knowledge of the Indian Air quality sector
• Ability and willingness to work with a global team across multiple time zones, including joining calls beyond normal business hours;
• Highly effective written and oral communication skills;
• Attention to detail and personal organization skills;
• An ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment;
• Willingness to travel (25-50% of the time) when it is safe to do so;
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
