Job Title : Programme Officer

Location : New Delhi

Martha Farrell Foundation is looking for an energetic, ambitious and highly motivated professional to contribute to a growing portfolio of impactful work in a dynamic and evolving work environment.

Key responsibilities will be to provide support to the Martha Farrell Awards program. The Martha Farrell Awards for Women’s Empowerment and Gender Equality is a one of a kind award that recognises individuals and institutions for their work on women’s empowerment and gender mainstreaming within the institution.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct primary and secondary research for material contributing to the development of the program
• Work with the program teams to plan, design and generate content for concept notes and proposals
• Coordinate with stakeholders both internal and external
• Conceptualize, organize and moderate stakeholder consultations with key stakeholders
• Synthesize information and data and communicate key insights in documentation.
• Prepare and support on forging new collaboration opportunities with external partners.
• Plan and execute all aspects of the annual awards ceremony

Required Skills and Experience:

• A master’s or other post-graduate degree in mass communications, development studies/ social work or any other relevant field with minimum experience of 1-2 years.
• Proven ability to multi-task and collaborate work effectively with senior staff, colleagues, donors, partner organizations, stakeholders, local institutions, and others at all levels.
• Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines, and an emphasis on quality.
• Excellent analytical, communication, presentation and report writing skills.
• Excellent skills in facilitation, team building and coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
• Excellent command over MS Office applications, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Excellent in written and spoken English and Hindi.
• Extremely detail-oriented, with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proven effectiveness while working in a team-based environment, but capable also of working independently.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
