A Project Manager (PM) is accountable for overseeing the successful completion of projects from inception to commissioning and can work in variety of fields, such as technical delivery and business development. PM manages key client projects and accountabilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects and organizational requirements covering governance.

  • Deliver government and social advisory projects especially in the work-related to education, gender, youth development, livelihoods, environment, social, health and education.

  • Preparation of socio-economic studies, resettlement & rehabilitation, regulations, policy reviews, baseline studies, monitoring & evaluation work, environmental and social due diligence, policy impact studies of Government and donor donor-funded programs.

  • Developing winning proposals to funding / donor agencies for government advisory consulting assignments

Project Delivery

  • Engage with senior level officers of the clients

  • Knowledge client feedback and ability to convert into concrete actions for improvement

  • Resolve commercial/ contract issues through effective client engagement

  • Provide project status to client on regular basis.


  • Ensuring strict adherence to Mott MacDonald internal guidelines and processes with special focus to Health, wellness, and social outcomes

  • Encouraging the team to highest ethical and moral standards

Desired Qualification and Experience

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields: including management, statistics, economics, social sciences and public policy preferred

  • Experience - national and international experience in the social sector particularly in education, health, social welfare, gender, youth development and livelihoods.

  • Well conversant with the process of evaluation of proposals by Government and funding agencies.

  • Excellent research skills and the ability to evaluate complex qualitative and quantitative data, craft possible solutions, and recommend actions

  • Other essentials: Excellent Knowledge in various domains of government advisory

  • Experience working with international funding organizations is a must

  • Excellent report / proposal drafting skills, excellent networking ability, client management skills, people management skills

  • Ability to work exclusively and proactively, without upkeep staff and with little supervision
