Job Title: Project Manager – Mumbai (Malnutrition, Nutrition or RMNCH experience)

Experience: 4 to 5 Years

Salary Package: 5.5 Lakhs to 6.5 Lakhs per Annum (Depending on Experience & Exposure)

We are Hiring a Project Manager (Mumbai) for our Not-for-Profit Client who are is a not-for-profit, exclusively committed to eradicating child undernutrition, through a three-pronged approach of raising awareness, implementing direction intervention projects in vulnerable geographies and conducting research to understand the underlying causes of malnutrition and has touched over 7 lakh lives in India the past five years. They are a member of a leading global network working in more than 45 countries and supporting around 20 million people. They drive change from the ground up, to make this world free from hunger. Their work has impacted the lives of 15 million individuals globally, through a network of 7100 humanitarian professionals across 50 countries. In India, their operations focus on taking decisive action against the causes and effects of malnutrition. Through grassroots interventions, we equip people with knowledge and awareness, so they can see their children grow up strong, and enable whole communities to prosper.

About the role:
The Project Manager will be responsible for Implementation of operations, delivery and management of project deliverables as per the stated and agreed targets and timelines.

Primary Responsibilities:
The role includes, but is not limited to:

A) Project Management :
• Develop, lead, monitor the assigned nutrition and health project.
• End-to-end project management and implementation of malnutrition and health & nutrition activities under the guidance of Program Manager
• Provide support, strategic direction and other important aspects of the role including managing the training staff to meet quality standards in the project delivery
• Set clear objectives and indicators for activities in collaboration with staff and under the guidance of Program Manager and State Program Manager
• Monitor and supervise activities, evaluating progress through outputs and impacts and analyze and take appropriate action to ensure continued progress.

B) Staff Management:
• Provide regular and timely and accurate statistical and narrative reports on the project
• Facilitate regular meetings to assist information sharing between project staff ensuring all staff members are aware of project objectives/work plan and provide feedback
• Maintain appropriate, regular, transparent, and supportive communication structures with the assigned team
• Assess the training needs of staff and ensure that appropriate training is conducted

C) Financial Management:
• Manage the assigned project and ensure that all expenses are according to the budget and meets the standard protocols of the organization

D) Logistics :
• Manage the logistic, financial aspects of the project including developing skills of partner staff involved in the project

E) Quality Management :
• Ensure project activities are implemented in line with Donor proposals and requirements and protocols of the organization
• Ensure reports and data collection and management is accurate, timely and adheres to data quality.

Education and Experience:
• Master’s degree in Nutrition/Public Health/Social Work OR BAMS, BHMS with PG in Public Health.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in similar capacity managing large teams and working with nutrition and health projects
• In depth domain knowledge of nutrition/public health issues/mother-child health issues
• IT proficiency and working knowledge of data & statistical software

Compensation: Between 5,50,000 to 6,50,000 INR CTC per annum, the final pay will be decided based on experience and expertise.

Language Proficiency: Fluent in spoken and written English, working knowledge of Hindi and local language would be preferred

Travel: Must be willing to travel up to 35% to 50% of the Time for meetings and location visits
