M3M Foundation, the philanthropic arm of M3M Group; working towards bringing an equitable development that helps in attaining a brighter India. The Foundation ensures the resources required for marginalized communities where everyone is empowered and equipped to reach their maximum potential to plan, implement, monitor and contribute in sustainable community development. The prime focus of the foundation is on healthcare, education, livelihoods and environment conservation for the socio-economic development of the society.




SANKALP is an idea of commitment towards the environment conservation. It is one of the key initiatives of M3M Foundation which focusses on the protecting and conserving environment. Foundation is undertaking steps to restore the environment through its active involvement in conservation of land, forest and water resources. SANKALP aims at promoting tree plantation and watershed management in Rurban areas of the country. Foundation believes in promoting sustainable and equitable growth for every member of the society. Through this initiative foundation is aiming to foster ecologically sustainable natural resource management models and strives to preserve natural resources for generations to come.



  • To rejuvenate, conserve and beautify the Rurban water resources by desilting, deweeding, watershed development, developing eco gardens with the objective of sustaining water resources for coming generations.

  • Promoting Rurban plantations with the aim of restoring degraded lands and reduce the effects of climate change, pollution for maintaining ecosystem.

  • Promote environmental education and create public awareness and sensitivity towards the environment.


  1. TREE PLANTATION, M3M Foundation started a unique environmental project named as Vriksha Arpan, promoting forestation and tree plantation under its flagship programme SANKALP. Through this project, the Foundation is striving to uplift the quality of our living environment through active planting, proper maintenance and preservation of trees together. 

  2. WATER CONSERVATION, Rejuvenation of water bodies through construction, repair and maintenance of check dams, well recharging. Promote and support sustainable participatory water management practices such as rain water harvesting, watershed development and management, efficient irrigation management.

Target Geographies for the intervention: Gurugram and Tauru block of Nuh District.



  • Selected partner NGOs will initiate implementation of the SANKALP programme within 1 month from the signing of the MoU, else the MoU will be treated as null and void.

  • Progress will be assessed under the pilot study, implemented over a period of 1-2 months.

  • Baseline surveys to be conducted for need of tree plantation and rejuvenation of water resources.

  • The baseline study is expected to collect basic data of the total number of water bodies and assess the current conditions water bodies.

  • Explore baseline condition under wastewater management, solid waste management and garbage dumping.

  • Explore existing concerns around water resources and community’s knowledge levels around environmental awareness and sensitivity in the community.

  • Explore levels of water, air and soil quality, existing potential to tap alternative strategies

  • Based on the above, generate a report documenting recommendations on implementation of activities and overall program strategy

  • Work plan to be created after conducting the baseline survey in the mentioned geography.

  • Selected Partners are expected to come with the suitability of the metrics and recommend additional data points that could be covered.

Submission of proposals:


The proposal should be enclosed as per the following:

  • NGO Profile, Detailed Technical & Financial proposals must be submitted in soft copy on the email address provided as per the attached requested format.

  • No physical hard copies of proposals are required.

  • Any proposal received after the last date specified shall not be considered.

Eligible and interested organizations can submit their applications for the RFP through an email navin.aade@m3mfoundation.org. The Email subject should bear the name of the ‘NGO empanelment for SANKALP programme’. The applicant organizations would be required to submit necessary required documents to support the information provided in the NGO profile format.

Due diligence


The information and documents provided by the applicant organization shall be verified and assessed by the due diligence team. The due diligence team shall form an evaluation process and based on the assessment of due diligence team NGOs will be shortlisted.



In case of any discrepancy, M3M foundation reserves all rights to terminate the whole process without assigning any reason at any stage. Further, M3M foundation reserves rights to revise/amend/update information contained in this document. During the process in any event if applicant found engaged in fraudulent practices, the proposal shall be rejected.
