Title: Senior Entomologist Delhi (NVBDCP)

coordination with MoHFW, India from past 3 years.

of the country’s most crucial health problems. In early 2000,
the scope of our India program expanded with a major immunization
initiative for the state of Andhra Pradesh. Today, PATH’s India
projects focus on TB, immunization, NTD&M, HIV/AIDS, injection
safety, maternal health, and more.
CHRI is currently recruiting Senior Entomologist
in Delhi for supporting control and prevention of
Dengue-Chikungunya, and Malaria elimination programme in the
National level. The Senior Entomologist will be the focal point of
contact for the project with techno-managerial assistance from
Additional Director-NVBDCP under the grant, which is being funded
by Godrej CSR for dengue-chikungunya prevention and control, and
malaria elimination. The Senior Entomologist will also work
closely with the M&E officer and in close coordination with
the state technical unit in Uttar Pradesh.

• Coordination with stake holders for program
implementation support from NVBDCP
• Manages CHRI
employees related to timely completion of project objectives.
Close coordination with NVBDCP counterparts and partner agencies.
• Provide oversight for state TSU team/personnel.
Provide technical support for coordinating meeting, training,
workshops, and capacity building.
• Coordinate development
of resource materials and E-modules
• Support NVBDCP in
outbreak monitoring, planning and response.
• Able to
demonstrate strong co-ordination skills and relationship with
other relevant stake holders.
• Any other activity assigned
by project technical leadership team.
Required skills &
• M.Sc. in Entomology / Master’s Degree
in Zoology with Entomology / in any Life Science disciplines
specializing in Entomology, with experience in working in public
• Masters or Diploma in Health Management
from reputed College/ University is desired.
