Job Description

Corporate Communications at Applied Materials India is charged with protecting and enhancing the reputation of AMIND and shaping public opinion among communities, media, and prospects as well as current and future talent. This team develops strategic messaging, participate in vital dialogue, and create content and programs relevant to their audience.

The Corporate Communications function is responsible for planning and driving the execution of communications activities across these multiple audiences. Individual is responsible to design, implement and execute communication strategies for Applied Materials India that positions the company as a leader in the semiconductor/tech ecosystem. This individual will be responsible to develop a positive public image for Applied Materials India (AMIND) by collaborating with internal stakeholders, members of the media, government, and public.  Will act as the business' representative for internal flagship events and industry events and would oversee all internal and external communications activities. Ensures marketing and advertising campaigns, videos, newsletters, collateral are in line with the company's image, branding guidelines and goals. Periodically provide data on market trends to the executives, manages communications budgets. Sets clear objectives for all internal, external and CSR communication / team and monitors team members' performance. Drives and manages CSR investments and engagement within the community. Work closely with the India leadership team to design & execute branding strategies for the India site to maximize brand presence across various channels.  This role will be responsible for effective communication of the site strategy to all employees.  

As a brand custodian, drive AMIND’s Vision, Mission, Values, and Culture Champions program cohesively and in line with the Country President’s vision.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing & implementing the AMIND brand marketing strategy and integrated communication campaigns.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing & delivering successful marketing and communication strategies

  • Responsible for strategic internal and external communications and brand marketing, PR outreach, social media engagement, community awareness campaigns and partnerships.

  • Serve as a strategic communications resource and advisor to the India Management and communications teams. This would include advising management on all communications strategies.

  • Working collaboratively with in a cross functional team environment to ensure consistency and accuracy of messages.

  • Create a cohesive, internal communications program and editorial calendar to support understanding and adoption of AMIND’s vision and strategic initiates.

  • Proven ability to lead and effectively manage the performance, output, and development of direct reports

  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media.

  • Oversee the production and distribution of marketing and communications collateral for AMIND and in charge of all internal and external coordination for design, content, and delivery channels.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously by engaging the team. Drive collaboration and ensure inclusivity

  • Provide strategic oversight and work closely with other internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and experience for all stakeholders. Closely interact with all business functions to ensure effective contribution to organization ambition.

  • Highly cultivated interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build relationships with and influence individuals across the organizational hierarchy.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders on a regional, global, and/or virtual basis.

  • Strong organizational skills and be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

  • Maintains absolute integrity, tact, sensitivity, and confidentiality both personally and among staff members.

Education Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Marketing and Communication, journalism, public relations, or related field

  • Minimum of 15+ years of professional experience with 10+ years of experience in PR, Corporate Communication, Marketing communication and media relations & General Management.
