in 2008, Azad is a professional feminist organization working
across social and religious divides to enable resource poor women
to empower themselves by engaging them in viable non- traditional
livelihood options. Azad is committed to breaking patriarchal
boundaries and structures so that the women can exercise control
over their lives and live a life of dignity. This is done through
transformative capacity building programs around the self and the
skills needed for non-traditional livelihood, based on adult
learning principles. Azad also engages with both men and women in
their communities so that both can construct a safe and supportive
space for their development. Currently Azad Foundation operates
directly in Delhi, Jaipur and Kolkata and in partnership with
other organizations in Indore, Bangalore and Ahmedabad.
responsibilities of the Sr. Accounts, Manager will include:
Senior Accounts, Manager should be a dynamic person who assists
the Finance Director in the overall management of the financial
operations of Azad and is mainly involved in budget analysis,
planning, forecasting, and reporting, in accordance with Azad's
strategic vision, mission, and goals. Working closely with the
Finance Director, Program Directors the Sr. Accounts, Manager is
responsible for Azad’s budget, finance, and operations-related
activities, from assisting in developing a fiscal strategy to
creating projections and reports. The Sr. Accounts, Manager will
responsible for the following tasks:
of expenses under specific grants fund.
financial statements and reports and ensure that the reports and
records are accurate and timely.
grant budgets and tracking mechanisms in order to maintain
compliance with funding conditions
program and project budgets and cash flow
revenues from all funding sources
accounting procedures to ensure effective operations of the
office in accordance with Azad’s standard practices.
advance, reimbursement of expenses and expense statement for
institutes / workshops
with Azad’s Chartered Accountant on matters relating to
personnel records of salary payment and tax.
planning and TDS related issues.
monthly reporting on the organization’s performance
and analyze monthly financial statements
accounting policies and procedures are adhered
in managing the annual external and internal audit
of internal and external budgeting and reporting templates
of quarterly TDS return to Income Tax department and issuing TDS
and salary certificates.
for GST monthly payment, return etc.
and coordination with auditor for finalizing Balance Sheet and FC
-4 for Income Tax Department and Ministry of Home Affairs.
organization budget and consolidated with program budgets.
budgets for donors according to proposal.
of Expenses and Variance Statement according to approved budgets

ideal candidate should have the following qualities.
7-8 years’ experience in nonprofit accounting and grants
management. Atleast 2-3 years’ of experience as a Manager.
degree required; advanced degree in a business-related field
to juggle complex multiple priorities and to work well
independently with little administrative support.
to handle sensitive financial information in strictest
and good interpersonal and communications skills.

skilled; proficient computer applications especially Microsoft
Office, and financial software.
experience in budgeting, financial planning, and analysis.

Salary Range- 45-50K/Month
