35 years. SPYM is working in the domains of Health, Socio-economic
development, Advocacy and Networking in the North, South and North
Eastern part of India. SPYM has worked with Govt. agencies i.e.
Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Ministry of Social
Justice & Empowerment, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports,
Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India etc. along with
Multilaterals agencies like World Bank, UN agencies like UNDP,
UNFPA, UNICEF, UNAIDS, UNODC etc., bilateral agencies like DfID,
USAID, CIDA etc.
State Technical Support Unit:
is setting up the State Technical Support Unit (STSU) for the
State of West Bengal to support the State in implementation of
Tuberculosis Intervention as part of National Tuberculosis
Elimination Program. STSU will help guide the State TB Cell (STC),
District TB Officers (DTOs) and City Health administrators in
planning and implementation of activities leading towards TB
eliminationas envisioned by 2025. Key areas of support are:

About the Position: Overall
in-charge of STSU and focal point for State TB Cell (STC)/Central
TB Division (CTD)
Coordination and supervision of the multidisciplinary team of STSU
to ensure execution of the project implementation plan
Responsible for the overall execution of the assignment in
coordination with STC & CTD
o Provide leadership,
guidance, problem solving support and lead the discussions with
STC and health department
o Ensure all deliverables and
milestones are satisfactorily delivered, leading to desired
o Provide insights from experience in healthcare
projects with state
o Governments, public
privatepartnerships, large scaletransformation engagements.
Liaison with STC, CTD, Govt. and other agencies
review of the monthly plans by MD, NHM with STC and STSU team
Provide supportive supervision to STSU Team
o Coordinate the
quarterly STSU Monitoring Committee meeting
o MBBS with Post-Graduate in Public Health
preferably in Community / Preventive Health etc. (2 Yrs Full Time-

o The candidate should have minimum 10
years plus experiences out of which 5 Yrs relevant experience in
