About the Organization:

Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to saving lives and reducing the burden of disease in low-and middle-income countries, while strengthening the capabilities of governments and the private sector in those countries to create and sustain high-quality health systems that can succeed without our assistance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess the field team's knowledge, skills, and requirement and create a roadmap for building capacity

  • Develop an overall or individualized cadre-based training content and development plan

  • Coordinate with national, state and field teams to understand training needs and up-gradation as and when required

  • Create an onboarding plan for new hires at different levels of project implementation.

  • Develop tools to monitor the quality and effectiveness of training in conjunction with the M&E team

  • Undertake regular field visits to monitor field effectiveness and get feedback from stakeholders such as patients, Providers, Government staff, Doctors, and ASHAs

  • Understand consistent operational challenges of a particular geography, relative context and prepare specific training programs to resolve them

  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices

  • Other responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree (preferred) in pharmacy, biotechnology, medicine, Public policy and Public health

  • Overall 4+ years of experience in working with field teams in the areas of project implementation, designing and executing capacity building initiatives

  • Track record in designing and executing successful training programs

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively

  • Strong writing and record-keeping ability for creating reports and training manuals

  • Good computer and MS office skills

  • Willingness to travel extensively
